Rich 08-06-2003, 09:52 PM #1. Welcome to AF  #2. Please turn off your capslock key, posts in all caps can be annoying. #3. As for your starter, its fairly simple. If you want exact, step by step directions, ill write up something tomorrow. Creagach 08-09-2003, 04:12 PM remove your fuel filter and access down against the firewall, if you have a jack it'll be simple sentrasersr20de 08-10-2003, 07:58 PM get a Chilton or some other Nissan Sentra manual from your autoparts store. It gives you instructions and pictures on a whole lot of things for around $20. Rich 08-10-2003, 09:21 PM Its actually quite simple.... Starter Removal Instructions 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. 2. Tag and disconnect the wiring at the starter, make sure to remember the positions for when you re-install it later. 3. Remove the bolts attaching the starter to the engine and remove the starter from the vehicle. Easy as 1,2,3  Buy a jack and a set of jackstands, if you dont have a set already. They arent that expensive, and they will come in handy for MANY jobs. Also, as sentrasersr20de posted, you should pick up a haynes or chiltons manual. They are a good value, and contain most of the information that the average DIY'er will need. If you have more indepth needs, you could always go for a FSM.
