Used Dakotablither 08-02-2003, 04:54 PM Hello i am looking for information on a dakotas. my price range is really low and i wanted to know how they hold up if they are older and are running a little higher millege? i found a few adds if you would please tell me what you think... First add 1999 Dakota 3.9L V6, auto, tilt, cruise, CD new tires $7900 Second add 1994 Dakota 5 spd, V6 86k milies alarm, a/c, stereo system, new brakes & tires, duel exhaust $5000 Third add 1993 Dakota 3.8 Magnum, 5 spd, bedliner, 96k miles $3500 so as i have said do you think those are good deals? im goign to sell my civic for it:biggrin: finaly. but thats kind of the reason i need a lower priced truck thanks guys. Diesel2NR 08-02-2003, 05:25 PM That first add sounds like a good deal, but I'd run a Carfax report on it to make sure it hasn't been wrecked and such. I paid $9,018 for my used '01 4-banger Sport, and it had 49,000 miles on it at the time. It runs great though and I haven't had a problem. I'd definately have a look at the first one. blither 08-02-2003, 05:29 PM the only problem i see with the first one is that it is a auto, thats why im a little hesatent on that one. i would prefer a manual car jsut because. but do you have any idea on how much would it be to change it to a manual if i got the first one? Diesel2NR 08-02-2003, 05:35 PM probably a [website edit] load. If you want a manual, I'd hold off and see what else comes along. Make sure you get what you want if you're gonna spend so much money on it. My purchase has left me wishing I'd bought a 3.9 instead of 2.5. I wouldn't try the conversion though. I'd think it'd be more trouble than it'd be worth. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
