I currently have a Mercedes-Benz E430 and was thinking about making the switch to a 540i.

* Does anyone have an experience with these two cars?
* Are they about the same with respect to repair & maintenance costs?
* Other Pros and Cons?
* Can anyone point me to a webpage that tells me what the available
options, colors, etc. are for a 1999 or 2000 model year?

you could always check out the certified used pages of any of the dealerships. I would suggest a post 2000 car because that is when they introduced angel eyes.

i'm sure some sites have it so that u can compare the 2...mabey the mercedes or bmw page has it


but i test drove a 2002 540i......it was like:22yikes: off the line, around curves, and highway pick-up
