97 2.5gt94tegRS 07-25-2003, 11:43 PM I am looking to get a new(to me) car and saw a 97 2.5GT and it had 18's and was lowered and looking pretty nice and am just wondering how quick they are? Subie Gal 08-08-2003, 04:48 PM not very... but they are torque-filled. Engine: 2.5-L 4 cylinder, DOHC boxer engine Horsepower: 165 hp at 5600 rpm, 162 ft. lbs torque at 4000 rpm not gonna set any records.. but it will get ya where you're going!!! :) Jamie www.subiegalracing.com _____________________________________ http://www.subiegal.com/SGRacing/Team%20Schedule/subiegalwave.gif 94tegRS 08-08-2003, 05:44 PM how does this engine handle boost on the stock bottom? Gasaraki 05-05-2004, 01:07 AM What can I do to increase pickup. Performance exchauts? Diesel2NR 05-05-2004, 06:49 PM most people boosting a NA subaru engine are only getting around 30k afterwards. I'd think you'd be better off doing a swap (dropping in a EJ20t...WRX engine), as you can do that for just a little more and have a lot more reliability out of the engine. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
