02' Sentra Se-R vs 96' Eclipse GS-Tblade34609 07-24-2003, 11:28 PM Hi, My friend just sold his 95' civic and bought a 06' Eclipse GS-T. The car is completely stock expcept for 17"s. Oh yea, the car is also a 5 speed. My other friend has a 02' Nissan Sentra Se-R automatic slushbox. He used to talk shit about my friends old 95' civic and how he could beat it. well, they said they are gonna race this saturday at out street dragstrip from a start. Im pretty sure the eclipse will wipe the floor with the Nissan because of the turbo. Im not sure but doesnt the Se-R weigh less? Also my friends not exactly the best stick driver so the Se-R has a small advantage. What do you guys think? When they race I will post results. Thanks BeEfCaKe 07-25-2003, 12:29 AM Originally posted by blade34609 Hi, My friend just sold his 95' civic and bought a 06' Eclipse GS-T. The car is completely stock expcept for 17"s. Thanks 06' Eclipse?? carrrnuttt 07-25-2003, 01:17 AM The 17's on the Eclipse isn't going to help the GS-T, though it'll matter less to that car than say, a Honda, since the Eclipse has more torque to compensate. If the Eclipse driver can drive, then the SE-R's toast. if he can't, the SE-R MIGHT squeak by. If it was a Spec-V, then it would be a driver's race. blade34609 07-25-2003, 04:31 PM Yea my bad, 1996 GS-T. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
