I am wondering if it is possible to disconnect the door chime on a 2002 suburban? The constant ding ding is a little distracting when I am trying to sit quietly with the door open!

You will most likely find if you remove the chime something will not work my buddy did it on a little inport car and the thing wouldn't start ended up getting a resistor of the same Ohm amout as the chime and everthing was fine again..

Or you can simply wrap the chimmer in a few layers of good ol duct tape and quite it down
