I Have a 90' thunderbird. the tranny in it is slipping really bad around 45mph - 50mph. I don't know if the overdrive is gone or if the bands need adjusting. is there any way to know and if so is there any fix short of replacing the tranny?

well a rebuild would run you approx 1000-1200$
