Bodykits you hate.Wes Moran 07-23-2003, 03:35 PM Before I say anything bad I just wanted to point out that this is just my oppion and I'll give any man props as long as he is trying his hardest to do the best he can with what hes got, I know not everyone has a rich daddy including myself. Ok I dont know about ya'll but theres some bodykits going around out there that I just straight up hate. (forgive me if u own one) First off the kit I think I hate the most is the Black Widow kit. I havn't liked this thing since it first came out and I hate the other ones the company makes the only vlack widow I've ever seen that I like is one that a guy in my home town has on his 94 Accord, and the only reason I like his is because he modifed it a lil and did a HR-V headlight conversion(which I have never seen on another car.) Also ppl what the hell are u thinking when u put those black widow ram air hoods on. I mean they look good on a Trans Am but not on a Honda, gah hate rice. Another kit I never really have liked is the Buddy Club I mean it was ok at first but its gettin old ppl. P.S. Down with Altezza tails, and shitty glow up pedals from Pep Boys. 99civic03 07-23-2003, 04:26 PM I hate some of the wingswest kits that have a ton of vents and are just ricey. I think one of them is called the agressor. Another kit I hate is the Feels kit, that thing is nasty. My favorite for the civic would be cwest, and bomex for the integra. 00accord44 07-23-2003, 04:49 PM I just hate any kit wit all kinda crazy vents/holes/whatever. Keep it clean/simple is my motto. BLU CIVIC 07-23-2003, 04:50 PM buyyd club and skyline :puke: especially the buddy club esp 07-23-2003, 04:51 PM the kit i hat the most is the Blitz kit for second gen eclipses, it seems like every eclipse in my town has that god damn kit, seriously it must be like 15 cars, i see it everywhere. Buying a front/rear lip and oem spoiler is the cleanest way to go. 00accord44 07-23-2003, 05:32 PM Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the keyboard! J/K I'm gonna go that route. I 'll lower my car a bit and get a front lip. no spoiler. To me, Accord sedan and spoiler just dont mix. BLU CIVIC 07-24-2003, 08:51 AM not all body kits are bad....this one looks perfect for 4th gen hatches:wink: kittedb18bt 07-24-2003, 12:13 PM wes moran, shouldnt it be wes MORON. J/k! i think the BW kit is quite clean. all of the "car guys" i know tell me that i have a clean car. take a look, u really dont like the looks of my car? :frown: Ricochet 07-24-2003, 01:23 PM Although seen pretty often, I'm in love with the buddy club skirts. I just don't like body kits that you'll see everywhere within a year and start becoming the norm, which is why I'll never own that or any other kit unless I make one myself. After spending so much money for one, that would seem quite frustrating to me imo.. VTWanderer07 07-25-2003, 01:27 PM Originally posted by Ricochet I hate all body kits. Buying a front/rear lip and oem spoiler is the cleanest way to go. It really depends though. I don't really think my 97 EX coupe bumper looks that nice or clean. With the many dents and scratches and holes, adding a lip would immediate create a contrast. Replacing the bumper however would look much nicer. 00accord44 07-25-2003, 01:47 PM Holes:confused: You been in a few drivebys my friend? Or was your car a stuntcar from T3? Kilboy57 07-25-2003, 02:21 PM they are speed holes they make the car go faster....HAHAHA Man I love the simpsons Ricochet 07-25-2003, 02:27 PM Originally posted by Kilboy57 they are speed holes they make the car go faster....HAHAHA Man I love the simpsons L.......M.......F.......A.......O That was the one where he had the big blingy wheels and gold trim on that pos he drives right? 00accord44 07-25-2003, 04:33 PM No wasn't that the one where he was gettin shot at by Fat Tony's crew? Then Flanders comes out, Homer says the infamous line, then Ned tells Rod to get the pick axe so he can put some speed holes in too! (If I remember correctly) second_glance 07-25-2003, 06:18 PM I definately like the lips they are alot cleaner. VTWanderer07 07-27-2003, 11:48 AM I uhh..drifted into a rail...but that's not important now is it  CivicLeader 07-27-2003, 03:06 PM I agree...there are just some body kits out there that are just plain....out there...I just wish I knew what folks were thinking when they came up with some of these design.... clean and simple is the way to go...these are cars...not rocket ships...they won't make you go any faster...and you will never fly with a big o'l wing on your arss.... :2cents: Kilboy57 07-28-2003, 11:12 AM Originally posted by 00accord44 No wasn't that the one where he was gettin shot at by Fat Tony's crew? (If I remember correctly) yeah that was the one....its a classic episode the whole insident starts at a used car dealership where the dealer tells Homer they are speed holes after the car gets shot...then Homer goes home and pick axes his car Kilboy57 07-28-2003, 11:17 AM 00accord44...where did u get that bart thing....I want a homer one if there is one 00accord44 07-28-2003, 11:21 AM Aaah. I cannot divulge all of lifes secret's my friend. j/k:biggrin: I forgot. Ive had it for so long. Do a right click on it, go down to properties, check the url on it and try to work backwards from there. :dunno: 00accord44 07-28-2003, 11:25 AM Never mind. Just tried my own advice, it comes up as being from www.automotiveforums.com/avatar/blahblahblah.duh Do a search for "simpsons pics" or something like that in yahoo. I think u might change your mind I think that car is what everyone is talking about. It's fucking ugly. Body kits look like someone glued a piece of plastic on your car that should not be there. Half the time, they don't match the hood line. They just don't look like they belong, and disturb the car's natural lines. Some lips are the same way. Damn that civic is ugly though.. Even though this kit fits alright, the car still looks tacky as hell: http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/prelude92-tv1-fb_tv4-ss.jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
