Allright, I have a 97 RS (sad indeed) but im looking to get a custom exhaust. I want one that doesn't sound to ricy, obviously. I think i'm goin to install a Hahn turbo next summer, so i want somthing that will sound good both with and without a turbo. Ive already looked at a number of companies that make them, but i want to know how they sound before i buy. Please help...

The only muffler I have heard that is not ricy, is the Apexi N1(on a N/T car). If you turbo your car, its hard to make it sound ricy, the turbo drowns out the sound alot, so the muffler doesnt make much of a difference.

I've pretty much decided to buy the N1, however they offer systems both for the T & N/T (GS-T & GS) What is the difference between them, and if I installed the GS model, would i need to replace anything if I installed a turbo like i plan? the Apexi-usa website did not give any information on this...so if anyone knows, or even has an idea, please share...Thanks:smile:

The main difference will be the piping, thats about it. So you might wanna hold off and get the turbo exhaust, instead of buying two systems.

Excellent choice, I installed a 2.5" cat back on my buddies 98 n/t Talon, and it sounds great. I will be getting an N1 muffler when I get my exhaust done on the TSi

Thanks, well the only problem is, is I need to replace my flex pipes in the near future and I'd obviously just rather install the system now..unless i can install the turbo exhaust now, without having the turbo, and see how it runs...or if i can wait it out all together and hope the pipes hold up...hmmm...what to do, what to do....
