Question for probe driversCelsdogg 07-22-2003, 09:27 AM hello all, have a question about the probe. in the latest probe gt released what is the hp, torque, top speed, and 0-60 time for both stock, and modified probes? thanks!:icon16: superballs63 07-26-2003, 11:25 AM Stock: 164 HP 154 lb/ft torque top speed I believe 132 or 134 not sure bout the 0-60 sorry. As far as modified ones it all depends on what kind of modifications they have Dan DertyHarry 07-27-2003, 11:11 PM the 0-60 was 7.2-7.4 something in that area, the older probe gt's seemed to come with turbos but the newer ones didn't really seem to have them...everything else he said was right Celsdogg 07-29-2003, 12:47 PM thanks guys are all probe gt 4 bangers? is it possible to get them over 200 for hp and torque?:bigthumb: ThePRobed 07-29-2003, 03:04 PM all 93+ pgt's are 6 cylinders. I'd say with new headers, exhaust, cai, and a couple other little mods you could come pretty close to 200 hp. Adding a turbo you can probably get around 250 without risking too much reliability. DCC 07-30-2003, 06:07 PM To get 200hp and torque you would need new cams, CAI, catback, ZE intake manifold, headers wouldn't hurt, but they don't add that much, finally a lightened flywheel from an MX3 V6 will free up some HP(mx3 FW 16# KLDE FW 22#). To get instant 200HP get a KLZE, about $1200 shipped. They have different heads, intake manifold, cams and a higher 10:1 CR. they are rated at 200hp, and are a direct drop in. be careful though, they are junk yard engines, and should be treated as such. I rebuilt mine and presently have 35K on it. Still runs great. 95PGTR 09-22-2003, 08:58 PM where are some places i can get cams and other performance after market parts. i've done all the bolt ons, its time for heads, cams, upper/lower intake, etc.. hook me up with some options..thanks Brian ThePRobed 09-22-2003, 10:07 PM the best place for probe related questions would be www.probetalk.com its THE probe community. 95PGTR 09-27-2003, 05:49 PM Stock: 164 HP 154 lb/ft torque top speed I believe 132 or 134 not sure bout the 0-60 sorry. As far as modified ones it all depends on what kind of modifications they have Dan allow me to ellaborate on dans statement. the 93/94's had 154lb/ft torque, but the 95-97's had 160... SphinxMunkey 10-10-2003, 01:22 PM allow me to ellaborate on dans statement. the 93/94's had 154lb/ft torque, but the 95-97's had 160... so thats why it is rated at .6 seconds faster in the 1/4..... hmmm solves that riddle time to sell my 93 and get a 95 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
