How do you drive it? Do you launch constantly, or do you cruise/ease into gear? Do you have any performance upgrades? What climate (both temperature and road condition/hilliness) do you drive in?

Well I just got the car about a week ago and have no idea how the previous owner used to drive it or even who they were as the car is a direct import from Japan. The car has no upgrades except for the exhaust.

Hmm. This topic has just hit home with me this afternoon... On the way back from the shops, I could not resist a little burn with a new BMW X5 leaving some lights. My mk3 supra reached 2nd gear @5000rpm a bit too soon... oh dear, the clutch is slipping! :uhoh:

My car has done 132,000 miles, and is currently on its 1st clutch still...I'm now researching where to get cheap parts for a replacement.

I would guess that someone has been driving your car with the clutch half depresses whilst towing a trailer - or perhaps there's oil leaking onto the clutch plate?
