oh to own a legendterifi 07-14-2003, 05:30 PM ever since i saw the coupe i fell in love, but that was about 2 months after i had just gotten a car, so i kinda didnt wanna deal with dreaming...anyway its been about a year, and i just today saw a 92 legend L on the side of the road, it was beautiful, anyway, i was just wonderin if it was a good deal 4200 for a 92 Legend L with 142000 miles, automatic tranny, and pw, pl, i know they are hondas...therefore reliable, but i also know that since its an acura every new part will cost more than a standard jap car. anyway, havent test driven yet, but from what ive read in here, i need to check the radiator cap, and the a/c??? is it a great deal? or should i wait, save my money, and try to find a 6spd, or...how much is a tranny swap to a 6spd... thanks spdbtr79460 07-21-2003, 03:19 PM Just buy da six speed and youll be happier(except in traffic) but that legend is still a bit pricey and da miles dont really matter cause I hav an 89 legend with 240,000 miles on it and still runnin strong jayhx 07-24-2003, 06:28 PM I just paid 1400 for an 89 Legend with 115000 in pretty good condition (a few small dings and a few minor things to attend to). Great performance, rattle free, comfortable. I guess I got kid of 'lucky'... thow owner died and the estate was looking to unload it. I generally buy older cars, but my thought about this is... if it's this good at 14 yr, how good is it new!? blasian_man 07-24-2003, 11:03 PM i didn't know legends came in 6sp, i thought it was only 5 speed Cy@tirerack 07-27-2003, 05:13 PM Paonessa 08-08-2003, 01:07 PM Originally posted by blasian_man i didn't know legends came in 6sp, i thought it was only 5 speed type2's come 6 speed. they're pretty fast too. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
