Just wondering if aluminum wings can be painted? And will they look like the same color as say a fiberglass body kit painted with the same paint?

well the Acura NSX has an aluminum body and that comes painted in different colors...

yes you can paint them. actually if you do get one you better paint it

i agree... but if you HAVE to get an aluminum wing for some unknown reason you really really should paint it. otherwise it looks like someone put together an erector set and glued it to the back of their car.

actually painted aluminum wings look pretty badass.

a wing isnt nessecary. maybe it is. but then, if it was that nessecary, then your 240 prolly has a stripped interior, no seats besides driver, shaved headlights, no a/c and hardly any gas.

the truth is, a wing isnt very efficient untill you hit triple digit speeds. and god, why would you do that? thats unsafe and you could kill some one including yourself easily. wings are extra weight, just like dirtydawg said. plus they look fugly. especially cheap-o aluminum ones. oem wings are ok, but other than that, just save some money and go for the carbon fiber wing instead of the ricey ass aluminum crap.

all I have to say is....look at my face, does it look like i can afford a carbon fiber wing?! :bloated:
