Where to find a good mechanic ?dave99 07-10-2003, 06:20 PM Hello everyone, I was reading the posts throughout the site and it's all pretty amazing!!! My question is: I'm into buying a 95 Civic but it's my first car ever so I haven't even opened a hood in my life(it happens ;) ) So I was thinking if I could pay like 200 dollars to someone who is knowledgable in this and will do all the checking and testdriving for me. Is there such a service if I don't have a knowledgable friend... If you know of something like that I'd really appreciate your help. by the way I live in Toronto, ON, Canada Thanks a bunch. Usually have to set up an appointment. semyaza 07-14-2003, 04:27 PM Check around with your family first to see if they know any mechanic nearby. Generally they will do it as a favor... unless it is a car that you shouldn't be driving like a 93 talon with awd and a turbo and tells your parents not to get it or your son would die... dammit, that would have been a nice first car. Sorry, I am still upset about that 4 years later. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
