gts-4 Auto to Manualraptor 11-16-2001, 03:59 PM Can anyone help I,m thinking about changing my auto to a manual but I'm not to sure if the GTS-4 gearbox is different to a GTS-T? I'm also wondering if I have to change the ECU or the wiring loom also do I have to fabricate a new crossmember for the gearbox? Any help is appreciated.:smoker2: GTS-4 Ben 11-16-2001, 04:55 PM Yes the gearbox is very different and very expensive. It is the same as that used in the R32 GTR.... You might as well buy a GTS-4 5 Speed.. as it will cost more than the car to convert it.. Ben Hytech 11-16-2001, 05:30 PM Done it!! raptor 11-16-2001, 06:34 PM Hytec any more details on how difficult or pitfalls.I might be able to get a GTR box but I'm not to sure about the clutch,bellhousing,driveshaft...etc   GTS-4 Ben 11-17-2001, 06:51 AM The box should bolt right up to the bellhousing. The clutch.. well just pretty much any Turbo Skyline one, but if you are going to drive hard in a GTS-4 then you may need a decent one.. Driveshaft... not sure, may need to be changed in length, but that is a simple job.. Ben Hytech 11-17-2001, 03:07 PM Gather all the parts together, and I'll fit it. Or give me a call, and Ill give you the low down.;) ;) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
