A number of things can cause your problem! Does it stall when coming to a stop or after you start the car and step on the brakes and the car shuts off? At first thought you might have a vacuum leak. Check all vacuum lines to make sure they ar not off, kinked or cracked. Replace as necessary.
Otherwise the car will have to be scanned to catch a misbehaving sensor. Good Luck.

Take the car to a GM dealer and tell them to reset and reboot the main computer I had the same prob and the reset fixed the problem right up its a known problem with GM... its the Idle control which is bugged when you hit the brakes it drops the car to a lower then normal idle which is causing the stalls
