Has anyone had a problem with their 2002 Jetta TDI stalling (not accelerating) from a stopped position? I purchased the car two weeks ago with 11,300 miles. During the first 2000 miles that I've driven the car, I've had it happen 4 times as I'm taking a left turn from a stopped position. The car will begin to accelerate and then stop as I'm half way through the intersection. I have to pump the gas pedal several times before the car will respond. Last time it happened I almost got hit from on oncoming car. I've taken it to the dealership for repair but because they can't get it to duplicate the problem they are saying nothing is wrong with the car. The car doesn't quit running and no emergency light come on. It almost feels like the transmission (automatic) slips into neutral. Any help would be appreciated!

Is it the "common rail" injection. If so, some have been giving problems related to ecu program.
