K-5 question

Hey i have a K-5 1986 and i was looking for soem ideas to get it soem more power, I have a 350 engien adn a 400 samll block 2 bolt main im going o drop is one or the other, then i think i will put a eldbrox 600 carb one, a 400 turbo trans mission, 4 lift lift with 33 inch tires. Anyone thing of any other suggestions or if they think any of my upgrades could be better tell me.... I must have more power, so i can run over little cars on the highway

i also have an 86 k-5 4x4. mine is oem with 305. i wana upgrade to a 455 hores 350 crate motor from jegs and a matching tubo 350 tranny but if i change tranny i will have to change transfer case's wana fuel injected 350. better for the hills that way lol. also wana 4 in sus. lift with 2in body for a set of 35 13. 50's

if you are going to put a 4 in. lift on it you better go to bigger tires. I have an 83 k-5 with stock suspension and i have 33's. with a lift the tires will look kinda small. Also for more power you should probably change cams, put in a mild cam and that will give you more power. Either the 350 or the 400 are fine. If you really want to go nuts take the 350 and put 305 heads on it. that is always a fun way to increase power.

i have recam my blazer it has a 305 with 350 cam 350 timing gear and chain completely rebuilt 350 heads but now i think the tranny is week. new carb
every pully is new compleetly new cooling system an d charging syatem. lol all i wanted to do was sell it but didnt wana sell it nonrunning so it runs good now asking $2200 or best offer i hope thats fair couse i paid $2500 for it and have $2000 in new parts

I've got a 88 k-5 350 700r4 308 diffs and 33s its a highway monster gets great gas mileage. It lacks a little off the line because if the diffs, but not much stops it in the bush. Im installing a 4" suspension lift headers and some flowmasters just to start. I think the original colour was black, but i choose mud brown with clean spots were the wipers move across the windshield. :evillol: I just picked it up 2 months ago and i swore I'd never own a 4by, well, I'll never go back my wife is jelous of the truck. he he he i love it I hope they start a K-5 forum

looking at a ramjet 576 big block 1050hp outa the crate with a turbo 400 tranny with stage 1 shift kit
just found a place to get new doors , fenders, hoods tailgates all new and at a rear good price looking at 1348 hp whaen i,m done 8 in left 35/13/50 totally redone body it will basicly be brand new just so i wont have to buy a boat. drive out in the middle of the river climb in back go fishing if i dont sell it would rather have a 72 full size or better yet a 73 so mine is in good shape now i'll take $2000 its had the whole top end redone over $4000 envested 606-215-6192
