I need some quick advice.....Shanan 11-14-2001, 06:41 PM Hi guys, I'm buying an R33. This car has Jap papers showing it was first registered January '95. The compliance plate is telling me the car is a '93  Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Can it be a 93 first registered in 95? Help! I am supposed to be picking this car up on Friday! SDU4EVA 11-14-2001, 07:14 PM Shanan It doesn matter as long as the car is in good nick. A good way to tell is look at the brake master cylinder and there is a black hose going off it and it has some numbers on it. Those numbers are the actual built of the car. Shanan 11-14-2001, 07:27 PM Thanks-already checked that-says 93. Only wanted to make sure Km's showing were geniune, total K's and year of manufacture were not making sense. You're probably right-shouldn't matter as long as car is in good nic. Had it thoroughly tested - passed with thumbs up. Only paying 18K - so I should not complain too much. S'pose I'll be seeing you on the road soon! SDU4EVA 11-14-2001, 07:33 PM Shanan. Thats a very very decent price indeed. trust me, They are reliable as the skylines. I promise you. Where abouts do you live? Might meet up some time.:) Shanan 11-14-2001, 07:51 PM yeah - I think ur right. Price is pretty good. You drive a Turbo Skyline as well? This one has 5spd/Turbo/S.Exhuast/HKS Air Filter -it's black and only has 45'Km on the clock. Can't wait to get it on the road :D BTW - I live in Melb. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
