However, don't believe the crap the advertisers tell you about getting like 17HP and 33ft-lbs o torque. It just won't happen. Depending on the car and the quality of the header, maybe 5HP to the wheels if your lucky. Nothing compared to the crap the ads rant about, but still worthwhile. As for that electric turbocharger thing, it's complete crap. It doesn't work in any way at all and if anything will hinder performance. Chrometib 06-28-2003, 03:40 PM i am going to agree with what they said above i have a 4-2-1 header it works awsome in low RPM range it helps throttle responce as well as exhaust but its almost worth less without a catback all a header does is increase exhause out to clear the cylinders so they hit with clean air now a header is very usefull with turbos and or nos other than that its looks as well as that electronic turbo crap thing don't waste your money POS!!!!! instead get the CAI as well as dual or tripple ground spark plugs and some 10.3 mm wires for the same price as the ele. turbo POS but if you want more HP with out nos then work on the air in and the exhaust out. a cai with a good filter will give 6 hp headers 5 catback with muffler maybe 4-5 so for about 4-600 you can get about 20 hp with plugs and wires. Er0 06-29-2003, 02:36 AM sorry i am asking all these questions but i guess i have to learn sometime anyway where can i find these spark plugs and wires at? normal autoparts store or what? EDIT: found the spark plugs on sharkracing.com Chrometib 06-29-2003, 01:14 PM that is what i was going to say shark racing but don't get the zex plugs there ground is too cold and it stalls your engine when you start until they are hot. Er0 06-29-2003, 05:07 PM any other brand? Bosch? cienfuegos 08-09-2003, 11:00 AM the header is a 2 person job due to the old exhaust hanger on your tranny. worth it, yes. plugs your not going to notice much but full exhaust (header, cat back) you gain 10-12hp and cai another est.10 with a k&N filter. buy everything on e-bay, it is the cheapest place if you don't care about name brands. NOS for cheap quick hp, but watch out for the cylindar head. have fun vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
