I have a few questions concerning my 95 blazer.

?1 is: I'm looking for any stile functional ram air desing hoods and having major problems finding any. Anyone have any ideas on suggestions where I can find any?

?2 is: When I bought my blazer it had those wind deflectors on the driver's and passenger door. thats not the issue though. My issue is I have really bad wind noise at higer cruising speeds. Say around 30mph or faster. Any ideas on how to take care of that???

I got a SS Ram Air Hood that looks like the hoods of a new SS Camero...from cervinis.com..its fiberglass...if it matters..they have a pic of them on the site...I believe it was like 450-500 + 100 shipping

the only way i know how to fix the noise is to roll up the window...sorry..or take them off...lol

Thanx for the info. That is a really nice looking hood. Do you know where I could get a ram air kit for my engine to go along with that hood. We all know that the newer blazer's have 4.3L V6 engines. The ram air kit offered on that website isn't compatible with my engine. Any ideas there?

what kind of intake are you running? just the factory intake, or do you have one of those K&N cold air intake systems?

My wife just emailed me the VIN# to my truck. I also have a W in the 8th. place. My actual vin number is: 1GNDT13W2SK177789. Do I have any kind of sensor's that are tied in with any of those performance kits on the other thread that I'm gonna have to worry about? I'm thinkin that I don't.

Since you also have a '95 blazer and is in the same boat I'm in. Have you thought of any kind of exhause systems? I also wanna get a flow master exhauset system, but I'm not sure what size piping or even series muffler im gonna have to get. My exhause is probably gonna be one of the first things I do to my truck since the existing exhaust system is litterally starting to fall off.

the S.S. hood you got. did it just bolt right up to your truck using the existing mounts and hinges? Or did you have to order any special hardware for it?

We have the same engine (1/2 good 1/2 bad....good b/c it supposedly has 10+ horses over the z series and bad b/c our throttle body is made on the upper half of the intake manifold so no performance tb or spacer available)...ne way...Im getting a Flowmaster Dual Ehaust 40 series muffler with 2"-2.5" exits...so it'll have a nice rumble loud sound in the next week 2 week and a half b/c my pipe after the muffler is completely rusted through...completely...my SS hood was a perfect fit on stock hindges (I was I mean perfect fit)...no special hardware needed...there are no sensors that would interfear with the performance kit............I have pics of everything but my camera is being retarded so I'll try and get pics up l8r...e-mail me at djnitrous_427@hotmail.com

you by chance wouldnt happen to have a rough idea on how much it would cost to have all that rubber shit taken off the doors all the way around the truck and have the holes filled in, alone with turning a teal truck black would you?

are you referring to the door trim?....the black rubber piece that says Blazer on the front on the doors about 1/3 of the way up on the outside?...if you did the work yourself the only cost would be for the WD-40 or Goo-Off...um...........take a screw driver and pry the pieces off....try not to scratch the paint underneeth..then take an old rag and some Goo-Off and rub off the glew that held it on...you might try and heat it with a hair drier to help remove it....hears a link to a thread where they discuss ways to get the glew off... http://www.s-seriesforum.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=44842 ....the price of having it painted depends on where you get it done...

and I have it all in Black with a Panther on Both sides mirror image airbrushed. I have A thick mesh in the grill and the Air damn. I have it sitting on Air Bag Suspension. Interior is tricked with Matrix racing seats Black and Blue Leather and Vinal seats. Custom molded dash PS2 in the glove box, new Gauges with the flames. I removed the back seats and put in a custom molded box 3 12" Kenwoods competition quality system. I have 3 TV's one in Dash, and two flip down in the rear. Carpet has been pulled up and a custom Fiberglass shell on the sides in the back where the carpet was is now covered in Vinal and Leathr mixture 2D Flames. To the Engine I have added a CAI, JET chip, and play with the idea of putting a Supercharger in there but don't think I need it, I also use only K&N filters and full synthetic oil. It's competition.

I showed this to you because it shows you what you can do to a 95 Chevy 2 Door. As for the wind deflectors take them off they're kind of gay. or if anything just replace them new ones cost practically nothing.
