my 1992 cadillac stops when it feels like it. it does this sporadically. it can go weeks without acting up. it cuts off at any speed. it doesn't spit or sputter, it just shuts completely down. it usually takes just a little while to crank it back up and go. sometimes you can restart it immediately. the check engine light was on. i had it diagnosed. the problem was the pick up coil in the distributor. the distributor was rebuilt and the engine light went off. however the car still does the same thing. the ground straps are tight. someone suggested an engine control module. any clues?:biggrin2:
