how to replace emblembigeazy750 06-26-2003, 07:41 PM i bought a new hood emblem to replace the old one on my 1998 750il but i do not know what holds it on or what the procedure is to replace it. any advice appreciated bigsix 06-27-2003, 04:59 AM To replace the roundel take a thin cloth and a putty knife and gently pry the roundel up until you can get your fingers around it.Then rock it back and fourth until it comes off.Remember use the cloth so as not to scratch the paint.Next tale a needle nose pliers and remove and replace the two gromets. After that you may want to use some type of roofing cement under the roundel. Replace the gromets with new ones and push the new roundel on with palm of you hand. I hope this is of help. The reason that you replace them is that they sometimes get loose. allthewayfive 07-05-2003, 05:58 PM bigsix 07-06-2003, 04:43 AM This product is fine for removing numbers but Roudels are held on with gromets.
