Engine swapsmlmarine 06-23-2003, 10:16 PM I have an 88 Wrangler with the 4.2L in it. My dad is getting ready to scrap an 86 Fleetwood and offered the engine out of it to me. I've tried some reasearch but I haven't found too much on swaping the 6 for an 8. Its a Buick 305. Will it fit, and how much work would it take. Any help would be great. Battousai 06-30-2003, 05:02 AM They put LS1 corvette engines in jeeps a while back. I imagine a v8 would still fit but getting everything hooked up again might not be possible. It might be more trouble than it is worth if that is your only transportation. Good luck. Post back here if you get it to work.
