3 Week Old Calmini Sliders and more...Mike H 11-13-2001, 10:15 AM They made me an offer I couldn't refuse, and now I own a different vehicle for off-roading. Calmini Sliders: Wheeled in once, only weeks old. $200 + Shipping Yakima Basketcase, Net, Mighty Mounts: I think it has one nick in the rubber coating. Other than that, its fine. I think I paid $95 + $25 + $10 for it all. Got them in spring. $60+ Shipping I also stripped these items off of it and will sell them is anyone actually want these parts used. Bilstein Shocks: About 6K on them. Front: B46-1099-H2, Rear: F4-B46- 2126-HO. I still need to look them over though (for damage). I think I paid $240. Anybody? K&N Filter: Lifetime filter, so hey if someone wants it.... T-Case Skid Plate & Hardware: This is the Pathfinder one everbody bought a few months ago. Combo this with the K&N and kill two birds with one stone. I think thats it. I think the sliders are a good deal since they are so new, basically I just paid for $90 of someone's rocker panel protection :( mike@urbanassaultxterra.com CheetaraX 11-13-2001, 10:41 AM Check your email OffroadX 11-13-2001, 10:45 AM OK, why the suspense. What's the new ride? Brent Mike H 11-13-2001, 11:05 AM No suspense, I didn't think anyone would give a crap actually. There are only a handful of other vehicles I would take over an Xterra, this is one. An Old Man Emu suspension kit was part of the deal but had to be ordered from the parts department. Should be installed in the next 10 days or so. 2002 Series II http://members.home.net/mikeholmes4/rover.gif Philosopher 11-13-2001, 12:08 PM $$$$$$$$ !!! Mike H 11-13-2001, 02:20 PM Nahh, I got a pretty good deal on it. Plus with how low financing is between what I got for my Xterra and how much the Disco was, it was a steal. Dayspring 11-15-2001, 02:27 PM Sorry y'all. I got his Bilsteins. :ylsuper CheetaraX 11-15-2001, 02:39 PM Don't feel sorry I am meeting MH tomorrow to pickup everything else. See the nice thing about being in the same state, I can give beer and get discounts. Mike H 11-15-2001, 03:13 PM Originally posted by CheetaraX Don't feel sorry I am meeting MH tomorrow to pickup everything else. Damn dude. Sorry to hear the new payments are forcing you to live in a garage. I'll be glad to donate some paint. Jezus! Did anyone see his kitchen in the lower left hand corner? Just a container of cookies and a hotplate! One word of advice. When you pick up a woman in your new Yuppie ride, make sure you go to her place. :smoker2: :D xoc 11-15-2001, 05:57 PM Originally posted by Philosopher $$$$$$$$ !!! There are a few guys that have DII's in a LR club I join once in a while. I have been very impressed with how well the DII handle everthing that is throw in front of it. Here is a pic of one of them. Yes he cut the rear quarter pannel to get a better departure angle :) Mike H 11-15-2001, 06:56 PM Originally posted by Schludwiller Jezus! Did anyone see his kitchen in the lower left hand corner? Just a container of cookies and a hotplate! Dude, not even. Those are dog treats sitting on the cordless screwdriver that I eventually will have to pawn for gas money (premium). It wasn't that bad, seriously - its an SD. According to KBB.com: Invoice: $30,327 MSRP:$33,995 I paid a couple grand less than MSRP with the OME suspension which I think is about $650 (dealer cost). HOWEVER, if you think Xterra add-ons are expensive, search for Rover stuff. Sliders? $500-650! ARB? $750! And on and on... __________________________________________________ _________ Rhombus, those are some nice Discoveries. Does any of the stuff that they dazzel you with on the dealership obstacle course work in the real world? Hill Descent Control etc. ScottG 11-15-2001, 08:54 PM Nice looking truck Mike:) Are we still going to see you around the Xterra message boards, or have you found a new home on a Discovery board? Wherever "wit" is needed, Mike H will be there. Wherever "negative posts" are needed, Mike H will be there...... ;) Thanks for the compliment on the new ride Scott. rhombus 11-16-2001, 09:09 AM Originally posted by Mike H __________________________________________________ _________ Rhombus, those are some nice Discoveries. The traction control system (forget what it is called) works amazing also. I will track down their email or websites so you can ask about some of the mods that they have done. I know that they have done a bunch :) One of the guys in from the states the other (closer in the pic) lives here (Toronto, CDN). The guy's from the states is only 3 weeks old in that pic. He already has all the mods (snokle, tires, winch, bull bars, rack) Very cool. S-works 11-16-2001, 11:17 AM Originally posted by rhombus MikeH- Very nice new toy.
