Hey guys
i got a 96 DX and i am more then likely gunna have a B16 in it when i do lower it, what i need is some suggestions on what way to go.
i will be getting new shocks, and either springs or coilovers. if i were to get koni yellows what would be 2 coilover to look at with them and same with springs.also another good shock to look at would help to basically 2 diffenerent sets up to look at 2 for spring and2 for coilover. keep in mind i would like he ride to be as comfortable as possible.

you should go with a ful coilover setup like tein, apexi or something. if you get some koni yellows or tokiko illuminas that will run you aboout $4-$5 hundred and then you could get some ground control or skunk2 coilovers and that will run you about 2-3 hundred. instead of spending around $800 on a non-true coilover system just get the tein basic damper or the apexi ws coilovers. or you could add $200-$400 more dollars and get the tein flex damper, super street damper, progress coilvers, h&r coilovers,etc...

Stay away from the coil springs with collars, called "coil-overs." Invest in a full set if your gonna go the coil-over route or get some good springs & shocks. Buy quality, not price!

keep in mind i would like he ride to be as comfortable as possible.

Stay with the stock susepnsion

ok so i read up on some past threads and i got that if u are gunna go coilover u should go full true coil over like tein ss coil over system.
now i wont be doing any racing really just dailydriving so depending on $$ i might just go with spring/shock and i was thinking koni yellow with neuspeed spring, what ya think?

p.s how do u pernounce tein? is it tea-in? sorry if i sound stupid

koni yellows & neuspeed springs should be fine for every day normal driving.

after doing some research on the net i found that tein and apexi kits are quite expensive..running anywhere between 400-1400 dollars..i was curious how do GC coilovers stand up to the tein or apexi kits..?
