I met up with a non-xterra 4x4 club in my area for a little wheeling near Vancouver, BC. Here's a pic of me needing spotting help getting up a little rock garden, clutch smoking, overinflated stock tires spinning, rain coming down and a general look of embarrasment on my face as I realize I still suck as an offroader.

To make things worse, this beat up '79 Ford walks up the same spot. Sigh. :D

Sounds cool to me. You're learning, picking stuff up, and know your limitations. Keep up the good work and don't get cocky. :)

When you're ready, you'll buy the right tires and any other mods that will really help you get further down the trail ...
