is it my fault?michaelsd16c 06-21-2003, 08:25 PM I bought an apex-i exhaust system about a year ago. The back of the muffler where the pipe concect to the muffler is crack and aslo there is a hole about the size of a half dallor. I call the company in L.A. and they told me that if there is any scrapes on the bottom of the muffler that the warranty wouldn't cover it. And yes thier is some scrapes but I think that there pretty minor.they came from going up my drive way....but are they right? To me it looks like their cover their ass for selling me a bad apex-i muffler. I mean it's made out of 404 stanliess steel. Has this happen to anybody else with the same muffler or any other brand?Oh one more thing I got the scrapes when I lower my car a year ago. I mean know I know how to manuver around steep driveways or speed bumps. I haven't scrape it in about 6 months. jcrx 06-21-2003, 08:38 PM It isn't really covering their ass', it is more of keeping people from exchanging there mufflers everytime they bottom out in thier uber slammed RIDES, michaelsd16c 06-21-2003, 08:46 PM OK but the scarpes arn't that bad I mean the muffler isn't bent where the scrapes are at.......minamul U don't think that it's a bad muffler u know 1 out of a 1000. B16EJ1 06-21-2003, 08:52 PM That's too bad but you can get it fixed at any local muffler shop. I scraped my Tanabe badge off mine. :icon16: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
