First, ANYTHING is possible with the right amount of money...but back to answering your question. What year of V6 were you thinking about? Is it V-tech? I generally deal with Hondas, (as a matter of fact, I'm on here just to try to find info to help a friend) but you need to think about transmissions, you will need to use a Honda one I would imagine. And that would also mean that you need the axles that will fit the new dimensions and the number of splines for the Honda trans. You would also need the ECU and wiring harness which may be hard to find. You would also need motor mounts which I would imagine are very difficult to obtain for your application.

Other than that, you may be faced with emmissions problems, or not enough fuel pressure, maybe cooling problems if the saturn radiator isnt large enough, or different hose sizes.

All considered, unless you're good at fabricating or have alot of money, I wouldn't do it.

I hope I gave you some insight on this issue.

You also have to ask why your doing it? If you just want to do it to be cool, and you have alot of time and money than you might be able to do it. but don't do it for performace reasons. First the V6 is probably way heavier screwing up you weight distribution even worse that a stock saturn, plus you will need to rework the sespension to adapt.

It would probably be cheaper to build up the engine, maybe add a turbo (I think someone builds one) or if you realy want a V6 a saturn one might be able to align with the oridginal tranny, although probably not.

But hey a honda powerd saturn would be cool (of course the 2004 VUE actualy uses a V6 engine made by honda).

If you want power put a rebuild kit on the motor and then have someone fabricate an exhaust flang and plumbing for a garrett t-25 turbo.Simple but you can make it complicated if you don't know what your doing. Rebuild kit $599 at www.importperformanceparts.com upgrade the rebuild with custome valves springs rods cyliners whatever. Then cut your existing exhaust right above the flange for the down pipe and add a 90 degree and weld up new flange to fit the housing your gonna use cause there are alot oil and air cooled. then a muffler shop can bend the rest of the tubing. Thats how you get power out of your saturn. Oh i almost forgot the greddy fuel management system for your compuer simple solder on application. then there the bigger injectors and fuel pump. Its a great thing when it's done 14lbs. of boost tires smoking fuel burning and your head stuck in the back of your seat.
