Well $1200 sounds perfectly fair to me.

have u seen the engine, it will pretty much tell you what's the status of the car, and test drive it.. try to hear for those unusual sounds like ticking, squeaking etc..

i think it's a pretty good deal..

and find out when or just plan on changing the timing belt
