what would be the best Cam to add to my 1999 Honda civic Dx. I want the ones that will give me the most power increase

Putting a cam in a DX is like the difference of taking out your face plate. You are not going to see a HUGE difference.

Just swap in a new motor like the B16A you would go from 105hp to 160hp and more torque to boot.

106 hp ty very much LOL i was going to do that b16a2 swap but it cost way to much. just for that engine. But I have a friend that know the guy at the import shop around here (he is the best honda told me to go to him) He told him he will drop the GSR in his car for 2200 bc they know each other but my friend is about to get out of racing so I think I am going to get the hook up on that

I was not worried about feel a diff. I just want cam that can handle more Hp bc if I stay with stock engine I dont want to blow it up on my first race

i dont get it. you want cams, but you dont care if you feel a difference with them? that seems like a waste of time, energy, and money if you ask me.

that last sentence fragment almost leads me to believe you think you will blow your motor while racing, if you dont have these useless cams. i dont think you know anything about cams, or your car in general, which should be obvious enough when you talk about racing your dx...

i say skip the cams and look for something a little bigger and better, like a swap.
