Anyone have a list or can make a list of the engines that can fit in a 96 Accord Sedan? I'm thinkin about getting a Honda, but I want to know first what I can swap that stock 4 banger for, either a larger 4 or a V6, thanks for the help.

BTW any other info on engine mods you guys can toss my way is much apreciated.

I'm not sure of all the engines that can fit (I'm not using my comp. right now). I know the H22a (used in preludes and stuff)is very popular for accords. It mounts up nice and packs 200 Hp and 197 Tq or something like that. If it is manual, the gears and crap should handle it. If it is auto I think it would work for a while, I'm not positive though. The H22a is a large four. 2nd question; I don't think a six would fit in a 1996 four banger accord. The 1996 V6 is about 2.8 inches longer for the larger engine. You can get the H22a with a tranny and ECU for a decent amount of cash. ~2,000-5,000 beaucoup bucks depending on how new it is.
