My intake came in today. I think it's pretty damn good that I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today. We installed it earlier this evening and I love it. My car sounds so much better, and it runs better too. Not really a definite noticeable hp gain but the engine does seem to run better. Here's a pic of it. I wanted a silver one, but AEM discontinued that model so I chose red. As you can see, it's my first engine mod... Exhaust comes in friday!

i originally planned to get a CAI, but on the AEM website the short ram had better performance for the 96-98 EX Automatic Civic. I know that makes no sense but you can go see it for yourself. Plus, the short ram is cheaper

Future engine mods: BuddyClub cat-back exhaust, APEXi header

that's all i really got planned as of now. of course my dream is to drop a b16 in there but, like i said "my dream". anyone got any ideas on what i should do after the header?

my halos are good. i finally got them almost exactly balanced. i've had a lot of trouble with my right side turn signal bulb. i've blown 3 bulbs in 2 weeks. it's been raining alot around here and i keep hitting huge puddles that splash into my engine bay. since i spliced the turn signal wires to the halos thats double exposure to water. we put in a new bulb tonight and sealed off all the electrical outlets and exposed wires. i also covered the hole that is open to the wheel well. hopefully, it will work.
