Any idea on "CHEAP" Horsepower IncreaseH&H Motorsports 06-12-2003, 02:08 PM I race on a round track with a 96 2.2L, anyone have any ideas on how to increase horsepower? SolTheHoelessPimp 06-12-2003, 03:12 PM how cheap are we talking? Autoflow 06-12-2003, 08:57 PM if you want some cheap gain just disconnect the stock intake hose and the catalettic converter. The only bad thing is its bad for the car and illegal. H&H Motorsports 06-12-2003, 10:59 PM Below $500 and I've already done away with the exhaust for racing exhaust (which is just straight pipe) and i have to run some kind of air filtration because the tracks we run are clay. I'm currently running a K&N air filter. SolTheHoelessPimp 06-12-2003, 11:27 PM check out www.mantapart.com Autoflow 06-13-2003, 12:56 AM do you or any one you know have any machining skills? If so a port polish could help. I also think jet chips have one that will fit your car but personally i dont think their worth the few extra horses you get. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
