Hi, i live in montreal and the rain and snow is pretty hardcore up there.I know that coilovers are very sensible to rust and/or breaking.Id like to know if rubber or plastic protectors exist to protect the coilovers, i believe they call it a rubber boot. Also id like to know what is the best bang for the buck between jic magic or tein's, considering tein's have like 10 different kinds of coil-overs,whats the difference between all of them. Thanks a bunch.

i'd say the best bet would be to simply garage the car for the winter and buy a beater to avoid any snow/salt damage to the entire car. that's what i plan to do. if not, then maybe swapping back to the original struts for the winter?

as for the decision, my 2 top choices for my future suspension are either JIC FLT-A2 or Tein HA's. as for the different models, every company has them. it's like with a car. you can buy the base model, which does everything it needs to and not one thing more, or you can buy the mid, which does what it needs to and has some extras, or you can buy the top-of-the-line, which has all the options available, but probably obviousley costs more. the base model suspension is adjustable, but just does what it needs to and nothing really special. from there, the options pile on. check out www.tein.co.jp to check out all the models. they might have an english site too, but i haven't been to it yet.
