coiloverspartyhardryan16 06-09-2003, 03:15 PM I just bought a lot of shit for my 94 Accord EX Coupe VTEC 5 Speed... first thing put in was a set of dropzone coilovers which were put in by a friend of a friend. Day after they were installed i blew a rear strut. Anyone with coilovers blow struts? If so did aftermarket struts resolve the problem? What should I do to make sure I don't blow anymore struts? Its dropped about 2.5" right now??.... Also if you have any questions about my honda just ask. CivicSiRacer 06-09-2003, 10:37 PM Let me guess you put them on stock shocks. That's expected if you did. Stock shocks cannot handle the higher spring rates of aftermarkets springs OR coilovers. What you need is a set of performance shocks like Tokicos or Konis. SilverY2KCivic 06-10-2003, 09:37 PM YES! The same thing will happen to your fronts if you don't.
