I bought a 1998 3.8 camaro. I really wanted a 5.7 but i couldn't afford it. I was wounding what upgrades i can do to get the max hp out of the 3.8. If u have any advise please just send me some info. Thanks

It depends on the money you can afford to spend but since you couldn't go with the 5.7 then my guess is not a whole lot. Get it tuned up first - an older car can almost always use that, so its running as well as its able. Open the air intake and get a budget together so we know how much you can afford.

I have about $1,000. I was wondering about computer chips that u can plug in and change the richness of your fuel and also u can adjust the spark plug timming. Are those any good?

I've not heard anyone claim it actually helped their performance
