Factory Tach in '77 Sierra Grande 4X4

Just wondering how rare is a factory tach in a '77 GMC Sierra Grande 4X4? I've owned the truck going on 5 years now I've never seen one in any other truck of this style. Anyone else seen one or know more about it? It's in the pod where you usually find the gas gauge. It has a full set of gauges as well.
