Your "Plans"Suislide 06-07-2003, 04:07 PM just had an idea for a thread that i thought might be cool. what are your plans for your 240SX? list the car you own/want to own, any mods you plan to make (don't have to be precise if you don't know exact specs) and what you plan to use it for. as for me... my plans: car: 1989-1993 240SX hatchback Suspension: Tein HA's or JIC FLT-A2's, other suspension pieces from various companies. Wheels: SSR Formula Mesh, or Reverse Mesh, or RS Watanabe, or Longchamp XR-4, although i'll probably own alot of different sets. Exterior:Wangan wing. S13 front end with stock K's bumper, or Aero if i can find one for cheap enough. oh, and no grille. i love S13's with nothing in between the headlights...180SX windows and 180SX centre panel on rear lights. carbon hood, possibly FRP front fenders, possibly a G-Corporation Flash S13 front bumper...but i'd take it off to drift, as i wouldn't want to wreck it. Engine: S14 SR20DET Exhaust: Trust DD exhaust Interior: Bride driver's seat, Zenitani carbon rear seats, Nardi old skool steering wheel, Nismo or OEM S15 shift knob, roll cage. Engine Mods: engine parts will come as i decide to buy them...there's so many options, that i haven't decided on anything concrete yet. but the engine will be receiving ALOT of new parts...aiming for 300-350hp, so think pretty much everything. FMIC, BOV, Pistons, Fuel Pump, crank and cam shafts, valve, valve springs etc., EVERYTHING!! Paint: some sort of blue, something like the color of that S14.5 in the other thread. Brakes: Endless Calipers and Rotors, Project Mu pads, braided steel lines, new master cylinder. drivetrain: Kaaz 2-way, carbon driveshaft, c' short shifter and NO STEREO EQUIPMENT!! all that shit does is add weight. if there's anything i missed, i'll add it later. SO! let's hear your plans...:) endlesskev86 06-07-2003, 04:37 PM Hey Brian... i just recently brought a chinese Magazine in HK... very similar to OPTION. They tested alot of suspension including the TEIN one. But at the end, they said that ZEAL Suspensions were better..... what are the reasons why? and sorry... i will post up my list later... :) ghostchild316 06-07-2003, 04:40 PM Me next:smile: The Blueprint:biggrin: car:My 1989 240sx Fastback suspension:JIC magic FLT A2's or GPSports coilovers, and other various pieces by JIC Magic(tension rods, hard tie rods,etc..) My dad hates RWD cars and since we get a lot of snow in the winter, he probably wont be too happy with me buying one. I'm only in high school now, so its prolly gonna be a while. But hey if I do get one while i am in high school, its my money, and if hes such a hitler about driving it in the winter i'll just take the bus...or take his ol' mercury sable wagon . I also have no where to drift here on the east coast.
