the car is nice, but honestly, get that fucking wing off of their. if it were a C-West or Voltex carbon, then i wouldn't mind, but that just looks like one of those aluminum ones sold by rice companies that don't actually do anything. besides that, the car is pretty sexy though. i love that color.

I tried the SR20DET with HKS 2530GT, and its not impressive. I currently swapped back to KA-T with a T78 and 660cc Injectors and a Stage IV setup.

that "wing" is just a tad' bit to big for my taste. but so far the car is sexy.

if i understnad what he said correctly he swapped in the jdm silvia motor and put a btter turbo but wasnt diggin it and decided to put a stock american 240sx engine back in then he put a turbo and a stage IV turbo set up which usucally means a lot of boost stronger internals and an IC somehwere, along wiht some other stuff. GUYS PLEASE CORRECT ME if i messed it up im just tryin to help out

my bad dude but yeha i woudl have to agree, the sr is a kikass stock engine but if you want to get into modifying there are other routes that can be cheaper and just as good. as for me i am all about the CA18DET (cbass sold me on it) $900 plus $1300 in mods geting a healthy 300+ hp no problem (cheaper than turbo'ing a ka) then im gunna put that in a 240... Z that is:D and have a sweet ass ride. now to find a good z to buy

SR isn't hype man. it's all about your tastes and how much money you are willing to spend on your car.

as for me, i'm a drift-freak. the KA-T is a good engine, but better for straight-line racing then for the twisties. the SR20 was designed with the track in mind. with my car, i'm going S14 SR20DET. it's a bit more expensive, but you get 15 more hp off the bat, and also the valve-timing. SR parts are also becoming very abundant over here now, so it's not like it's hard to find them. sure, they may cost more, but personally, i'm willing to put that much into my car to make it the best it can be. i'm not just swapping to SR so that i can say "i have an SR", i want it because it's a damn good engine and perfect for what i need it for.

fair enough, someone that wants an SR because they are an enthusiast not kuz they are lame. i hope you do get one you deserve it

IMO that one just looks wrong. the wheels are too small, the side steps stick out way too much, the wing is ricey...and i highly doubt he has any engine mods if he's only selling it for $8000. that front bumper is probably one of those rip-off ones made by an American rice company, too. :bloated:

I e-mailed the seller about that S13 when he listed it before (I believe it failed to meet the reserve price the first time), to ask about the legality of the car. I noticed that it had a MotoRex license plate surround and inquired if MotoRex had legalized it for him. He responded rather promptly and informed me that although MotoRex had done some work on the car, they had not (nor had anybody else), in fact, done any legalization. So, long story short: not only is the car overpriced, it's also quite possibly unregisterable.
