Hi, I have a 1995 Toyota Camry with 138,000 miles Auto.

When I accelerate into a right turn (Only happens in a right turn), I feel a shaking/wobble in the body of the vehicle.

Also, when on the interstate at high speeds (80 +/- 5 MPH) and I hit a shallow dip, I feel a high frequency vibration when the vehcile "bottoms out" from the dip. The car does not actually bottom out, but the force of the dip lowers the vehicle.

I am concerned about driving it on the interstate, as I travel daily about 27 miles to work and back again.

Thanks for any help..

Andrew

Wow, that was fast ... I appreciate the quick response.

Yes, The suspension is original. I have done very little to this car except an engine mount replacement and timing belts.

With 138,000 miles your original struts are worn out. Sounds like the left front is worn more than the others but they probably all need to be replaced. Depending on their condition you may need to replace strut mounts and boots.

We recommend getting mounts and boots so you have them if you need them. If your mechanic says your old mounts and boots are good than call us for an RA number and sent them back for credit less the freight.

We don't have boots in stock and we don't have the mounts, but the KYB GR2 struts are $278 for all for 4 corners.

Figure labor to be about $200-$400 depending on shop and area.

Thanks for the help.. I had a feeling that the struts would be involved in the solution.
