Want to buy 300M

Hi folks,

I"m thinking to buy 300M at about 250 000km and year around 2000. Are there some traditional issues with such car to take care? I'm more interested in 2.7 V6 rather than 3,5 due to less consumption maybe. What about gearbox stuff, crankshaft, electrical?

Thanks for any hints, there are quite a lot of cars to buy in Europe, I'm driving 96 Ford Windstar and Ford Scorpio 2.3i now.

You don't really want a 2.7. Not one of the better engine choices.

Well, I have read the oil sludge stuff and don't want to change oil each 6000km while driving 35000 a year. Ok, than 3.5, is there anything else? :cool:
