Hey all,

1st off the easy question, what size exhaust will give my car a nice deep sound, without sounding hollow or too loud? If possible i wanna also try to get alittle more power at lower rpms. I was thinking about going 2inch but wasn't sure if that will do what i want or not...

ok, next question. How well do the stock 2001 1.8L (4g93) motors hold up with small-medium turbo's? I might eventually look at putting a small-medium turbo on just for alittle extra boost in power, providing nothin major would need to be done for the motor to handle the turbo alright.

Thanks in advance...

2 1/4" is just right.. and larger and your losing hp... as far as turbo try the Road Race turbo kit that they have... i've heard many good things

He's talking about a Lancer in AU...as in a Mirage here in the states. Different car, RRM's kit will not bolt right on. Racing Performance Works (http://www.rpw.com.au) almost certainly has parts to fit your needs however.

2.5" on a low output turbo setup should be fine.

Yeah, their R&D is great, and they're well known amongst US Mirage tuners as a great company.

Hey, with an owner named "David Thomas" how could they be bad, right? I mean..just look at Wendy's. ;)
