Radio Compatibility or maybe other issue

I bought a 2001 Aztek which we love but when we got it we knew the radio was messed up. At first it was just the FM/AM part of the radio. If they were selected you would get what sounded like a short happening but after a little playing I hit CD and that has been working flawless with just CD for the past 2 months with no issues. My wife normally drives the car so I dont get to play too much so I drove it the other day and decided to play again and hit FM/AM again and it is stuck with the short. every now and again if I leave the static for a bit it will get locked. the display gets all garbled while the static.shot is happening as well but you can still see stuff in the background of the screen where it looks like it would be working. I have tried every trouble shooting step I believe I could find online and in every message forum i could find before writting this.

Nothing else is going on with the vehicle to make me think it is the BCM and the issue is only isolated to the radio itself. unless anyone has any other information or suggestions I am prepared to buy another 6 disc changer to replace. and this leads me to the problem I am having at hand. My radio part number is 10305564 and i have the 10 speaker system w/ onstar and want to retain all functionality so I am buying another stock replacement. i have been looking on ebay and the radios i find on there have diffrent part numbers. What I guess I need to know is what part numbers can I get the will retain my 10 speaker system, onstar, headup display (If that even is part of radio other than radio station on it) My steering wheel constrols as well as rear seat and cargo area constrols. there are some nice refurbished ones on ebay they look the same and state Aztek 2001 6 disc but part numbers are diffrent or don't mention mine.

Any help would be appreciated. I am not trying to go aftermarket as that seems even harder and the sound out of this system when cd was working was more than enough.

Matt
