My family is looking at buying a used 92 Trooper. Any comments (whether personal experience or a friend's) would be greatly appreciated. I just don't want my family to buy another lemon :(

Awsome Wagons!!!

I know a few people who own them, and absolutly love them.
Izuzu is a world leader in Desiel technology, so if you can, get a Turbo desiel. Otherwise the V6 petrol is surprisingly fast, but thirsty.

They have great off road performance, heaps of towing power, and they are nice to drive.

And they have Recaro seats

I'd say a Montero is a better bet, however if you can get a Lotus tuned Trooper then GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!
