basically, went from a light, i let off at 85 with him about 4 cars back. he turned off immediately. i tried hitting the next u-turn hoping to catch him going the other way, but no luck...lol. sorry, i'm not too much of a story teller... :p :)

aren't you faster than an is300 stock? the gtp's are very fast... stock to stock you would take him by quite a few car lengths in 0-60...

yes i am, and yes i did. by 85 i had 4 lengths on him. it owuld've been more had it been an actual 1/4 mile. :D

Alot of boosted IS's are starting to hit the roads these days. But nice kill, If he was stock why would he even try, lol. At least give props to you for the win and not bugging out like a loser! Good kill again.

the IS's speed is nothing to brag about. i can take one on the 1/4 even before i had my turbo.

i kept even with an '02 a couple weeks ago then pulled away by about 1/2 car length when we hit 60. they really arent superfast or anything like that. i'd b worried more about supercharged maximas then work done to an is300.

He had something, cause when were were at 55 and he punched it before i caught him at the light, he was a car ahead already, and by 95 when we let off, i was right next to him.

he had some stuff done, but then again, everyone knows how much a stock GTP's topend sucks anyway...so who knows... ;)

PFS (Peter Farrell Supercars) has an auto IS300 that ran 11.610 @ 126.79mph in the 1/4 mile. That's slow???? And with some (not major but not minor mods either) modifications to the engine bay a supra 2JZ-GTE engine can be fitted with the supra 6-speed conversion (there have been a couple of IS300's that have this done already). You'll be seeing some IS300's hitting into the 10's by next year hopefully! Your car does the 1/4 mile in the 10's and 11's then I would gather since you're not worried about any turboed IS300s. Not to bash, just here to keep you informed of what is really happening in the is300 world :D

PHR (Powerhouse Racing) won't release their numbers yet but I think they are trying to get a 10 sec IS300 out on the track. Hell they've made enough 10 sec Supras!!!

yes in stock form the IS300 is slow I should know but that's gonna be changing in 1 month, :devil:

stock 1/4 for auto IS300 is mid to high 15's! So of course most cars should beat it in stock form!!!!!

nope those arn'e that crazy. the crazies that i've seen in the mag is some company somehow managed to squeeze a 4.3 V8 from the LS 430 and then added a super charger to it. see now that is crazy.
