2005 Grand Am stuck in park

My 2005 Grand Am is stuck in park. It has been difficult to shift for the past day or two, but today it just won't budge. Putting the car in accessory and trying to shift from there doesn't work either. What might be wrong?

It is one of three possibilities:

The transmission itself.......

The cable is bad.....

Or it's the shifter/BTSI solenoid.....

Does the shifter move?

If it does move does the cable move?

If the cable does move, does it move the shift lever on the tranny?
