I changed the Ignition lock cylinder in a 95 grand am (quad 4), afterwards I now the radio and the wipers aren't working while it is on "ON" or while it is running. It works fine when I put it on accessory though. Also the heater is still working if that helps. Thanks

Sounds like maybe the ignition switch moved a little when you did the cylinder and it was'nt lined up correctly when reinstalled.

I was figuring something like that. The Switch is on the driver side top of the column right? I'm trying to picture it and do i have to take off the wiper or turn signal switch to get at it? I have a limited amount of time with the car and making sure I have all my P's and Q's in order. Thanks for replying, btw

You should be able to pull the lock cylinder back out and reposition the switch. I think this one has teeth on it that line up with teeth on the cylinder. You can move the ignition switch with a screwdriver after the cylinder is out.

Well you were right about the ignition switch, when I removed the cover I must have nudged it. From the back of it I can move it about a millimeter either way. If its not just right, the car won't start and the wipers/radio work or vise versa. It's wore out with a crack forming it seems. Alex
