95 grand am wet passenger floor

HI can anyone help me by telling me how the heck to get the black beauty shield off from around the wipers on my windshield. I have a leak on my passenger floor when it rains and hear that I need to check the hvac intake under there and the windshield seal....but I cant get the shield off from around the wipers to get under there...help please....

You have some plastic clips...

However the pin is of course inserted. you need to pull them out WITHOUT TWISTING OR BREAKING THEM!!
take a flat screw driver and just pry the pin. You can also use some cutters BUT BE CAREFULL TO NOT CUT!! this is how I did it, use the cutter so it insert under the pin, then close a bit, then pry off...
It could be the rain traps that are blocked, pretty common problem. there is some rubber flaps preventing dirt from the hood to come in, but it also prevent leafs that succeded to get past the grill to get out...
