when this first happened we were at walmart, come out of walmart and car will not start, found it that the fuel pump was not engaging, towed it back home and replaced the fuel pump, now we still have the same problem, it will turn over but will not crank. The new fuel pump engages, it also has new spark plugs, new starter, new idle air control valve. Someone please help us.

Does the security light blink?

I do not have a security system on this car, so no it does not blink, it is not throwing any codes and we have fuel delivery, now we have discovered no spark.

There is fuel delivery, not sure about spark, how do you test for spark when the coil packs sit directly above the spark plug.

Do you have a chip in the key? the year of your car is near when they started to implement the passlock 1 system. What it does if the passlock is triggered is to not open the injectors...

Also, check your fuses...

Do you have a check light? if so put it on the wires going to your coils, you should see the light flash when you crank

My car does not have the passlock system, also my car does not use spark plug wires, the coil packs are directly above the spark plugs, both are brand new, and no check engine light blinks, nor does the air bag light blink. So we are at a loss.

I said to use a test light on the wires going to the coils, the signal wires... each time it should fire, you should see the light blink

Is there a way to test for spark without a spark tester or wire, I have neither of those. Im about ready to just sell it as is and deal with the van i have which eats gas.

it seems you do not want to do the test light test, so you should bring it to a mechanics so they can do the tests.

Ok just found out that a test was done on it last night, no spark, took ICM to a auto parts store and wouldnt you know it, the damn thing is no good, just my freaking luck, so we asked how much and they want almost 200 dollars for that part. Thanks guys for all your help.
